ROANOKE, Va. (October 26, 2023) – Virginia Transformer has been chosen as one of the recipients of Bechtel’s prestigious 2023 Supply Chain Excellence Award. Awardees were selected based on product quality, overall performance, on-time delivery, and meeting or exceeding project expectations regarding safety, technical expertise, and environmental compliance.

Out of 4,000 vendors that are part of Bechtel’s supply chain program, the Bechtel Supply Chain Excellence award is only bestowed upon 20 across the globe. This places Virginia Transformer in the top of the top for one of its largest customers.

The award ceremony was held by Bechtel as part of their 125th anniversary celebration in Reston, Virginia, last week. The event was hosted by Bechtel’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Craig Albert, along with other senior leaders from their global business units. Prabhat Jain and Manoranjana Panigrahi, who works with this key account, accepted the award on behalf of all employees at Virginia Transformer.

This award serves as a testament to the exceptional quality and steadfast commitment to excellence that we demonstrated in our work on Bechtel’s LNG Corpus Christi Stage 3 Liquefaction project in Corpus Christi, Texas. Our dedication to manufacturing the best transformers in the industry has deeply impressed Bechtel and contributed greatly to their project’s success.
