VTC Named 2023 Partner of the Year by Burns & McDonnell
ROANOKE, Va. (January 26, 2024) – Virginia Transformer Corporation has been named a 2023 Partner of the Year by Burns & McDonnell. The award recognizes Virginia Transformer’s exceptional performance in the renewables market, highlighting the company’s project execution, client service, and commitment to excellence.
Burns & McDonnell, one of the most prominent engineering and architecture firms in the United States, presented the award at their global headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, during their Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. The event showcased Virginia Transformer’s accomplishments in the renewables sector and emphasized the strong partnership the company has built with Burns & McDonnell over the years. Balram Ramamurthy and Beeti Mukherjee represented Virginia Transformer at the ceremony.
In addition to the award, Virginia Transformer received a $5,700 scholarship to the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College for the “Growing an Established Diverse Business” program. The week-long program provides attendees with extensive training on business growth strategies and development.
